Lesser Of Two Evils?

I had to change colors again. I know it is near Halloween but the black was getting to me. I don’t much like black. I wear black pants to work nearly everyday and I am tired of that too. The black was getting me down. I am down enough without my “favorite place to be” getting me down.

The girls babysitting is getting to be a bit much. Monday night/Tuesday morning when I got home at midnight no one was home. The girls were babysitting and when they both go they take Tyler with them if Dick is not home from work yet. He was mad at me last week because I allowed Nadine to baby-sit on until 10 on a school night yet he can go out with the guy while the gal is out and leave the kids there until after midnight on a school night! This will not happen again and I will be sure of that. They will not have a sitter! I got home tonight at 10:30 ~ no one home again. Dick was out at Buck Beers ~ almost a given. But all the kids were at S and S’s! I put my foot down tonight to the girls.

A) Ten PM is the latest that you are allowed to baby-sit on a school night.

B) On a school night only one is allowed to baby-sit unless Dad is home.

C) Keep track of your hours to be sure that you are getting paid what you deserve.

I will be telling these parents the rules! I do remember what it is like to need a sitter. I don’t mind the girls sitting but be reasonable. I lost a convenient baby-sitter because Dick could not get home at a reasonable time!

Weekends I don’t care how late they sit but when they have to get up for school I want them at home and in bed! I can understand special occasions too but I don’t want it being an every night thing.

The transportation thing pisses me off too! I went to get one of the girls and Tyler ~ that is when I realized that they had ridden the 4-wheeler over. It is not that far ~ I can see their house from mine but it is not walking distance after dark and I don’t want them out on the 4-wheeler after dark.

Which is the lesser of two evils?

1) Kids driving the 4-wheeler after dark?
(Rock and a hard place!)
2) Getting into a car with someone who has been drinking for 3/10 of a mile?

I am going to sleep so I can calm down! I am crabby about this!
