Just Now ~ Valentine’s Day

The last entry was written and not posted. I must have gotten busy and forgot to post it or my computer decided to freak out on me.

Valentines Day is just like any other day around here for me anyway. The rest of my family got treats and stuff but not me. It is my theory that since I was not happy with the half dozen roses that Dick sent me last year that I get nothing this year! Hmph! Does he not know that diamonds are girls’ best friend? Still waiting for those diamond earrings! It is a good thing that I have not been holding my breath.

I guess he considers taking me to a “wine and dine” convention type deal provided by the companies that they buy tires from is Valentine’s Day enough. To say the least I am a bit disappointed in him but I should be used to it by now. He has never done anything to make Valentine’s Day memorable for me. He is such a schmuck!

Next year (like I have already told him) I will exclude him from the treats that I provide for the kids for Valentine’s Day.
