Just Me Checking In!

I can not remember if I wrote about my new awesome printer. I know that I did write that I got it and I did get to use it once before it turned into a pain in the ass. Not literally but it has caused me nothing but trouble.

I got it installed the first time with no problems then it would not print. Everything that I wanted to print would just go the “jobs to be printed” and just stay there. So I deleted all the jobs, uninstalled the new awesome printer, then I tried to re-install it. No go! I kept getting a warning that I do not have enough RAM and I need a class 6 CPU but I only have a class 5 CPU. Whatever that means ~ I am no expert when it comes to the technical stuff about a computer (or any thing else about a computer for that matter.)

I went to the HP site and found the problem solving area and followed the directions. Now I have the new awesome printer installed again. As I type it is printing a photo. I will have to see if it will mess up again with the stuff that I want it to print because the photo is just a test.

I still may be exchanging this printer for another printer that is more compatible with my poor old computer. I was informed that more memory is not all that expensive, which might also solve the problem.

Friday at work every time I wrote the date 10/17/03 I kept thinking “this is a significant date but what is it?” I could not for the life of me remember why this date meant something to me. It was not until about 11 o’clock that I realized that it was my nephews’ birthday ~ Happy 20th Birthday Mick!

Talk about a kid that has had some hard knocks in his life. I just hope that it taught him to be a better person than either of his parents. Both of them are wastes of space on this earth and neither of them deserves to breathe the same air as the rest of us do!

For now I need to get ready for work ~ I have to do the banking and open! So I must run. I am putting the babies and Grace out again. We shouldn’t lose any this time ~ all seem quite healthy. They all have their eyes open now! Soon they will be walking around and we will not be able to keep them in the kennel without the door on! Yikes.

The jibber-jabber has got to stop!

List of things that I will write about in the near future.
