Just an Update
I started an entry complaining about having to work all weekend and asking how I was going to find time to prepare my Easter Feast. I dont have to worry about preparing a feast because we are going to Dicks brother and sister-in-laws house for Easter.
This is a scary idea but I did not want to offend her and she would have been if we didnt come to their house. She does not invite us often. Now that the kids are getting older I think that it wont be so bad. When they were young I refused to bring them to their house.
I have this feeling that it is not going to be a good situation. If they are drinking when we get there I am not staying. I will leave when they start. I know that they will be drinking. They do nothing without drinking! See I am mad already maybe they wont drink!
I should have called my Supervisor to see if he was going to be in town this weekend. Usually he travels out of town so I didnt even think of calling him before I scheduled myself in the place of the guy who quit. Supe stopped in tonight. He is so annoying! I just might not have my job after tonight! He told a customer dont mind her she is just in the red. It took me a second to figure out what he said. When I figured it out I turned around and smacked him in the chest and told him that was uncalled for and that if that was my problem I can deal with that.
I know that I am cranky but it is not because I have my period. I just feel so down ~ I had plans to go see my sister and my parents. I guess I am more disappointed than anything. I warn people when I know that I am cranky and I have been warning people. That way they can tiptoe around me! Haha! Just kidding. If I know that someone is cranky I just do my best to stay away and keep peace. Not Supe ~ he picks and picks until the crankiness escalates.
It is a good thing that he did not stay long because I was ready to walk out.
I talked to my sister yesterday. She told me that my mom called her ~ which is very unusual even though they live in the same town. My Dad is getting old! He is only 72 but he is aging fast. We think that he has the beginning of Alzheimers Disease. He is just so forgetful and he is becoming incontinent. When I was there for Thanksgiving I was doing their laundry. I found some of his pants and shorts that he had wet. He had an appointment to see the doctor so Mom went with and spoke privately to the doctor about it. He did not seem to think that it was anything medical causing it. I blamed it on laziness. He was not a lazy person when it came to working, cooking, or cleaning the house. But when he was in his chair and needed something he always wanted someone else to get it or do it for him. I remember one time, back before remote control televisions, we were all outside playing and brother Cory was down the block. Dad was roaring for Cory. So Cory came running into the house. Change the channel! That memory also sticks with the oldest brother too.
Since then he has trouble controlling his bowel. They were out of town, eating at a restaurant when it happened. How embarrassing for Dad. He also leaves the stove on. He put empty pan back on burner but did not turn off the burner. That is what really concerns me ~ that is not safe.
I guess that Mom talked about putting him in the nursing home and he freaked out.
On the upside:
I had written an ad to put in the paper giving away the software, battery charger, and anything else that went with my camera. I was just about to submit it on-line when I decided to call the school since I had not heard from them.
My camera was in the office. The gal told me that they had been announcing it and getting no response! I was flying high when she told me that it was there. I am so excited to have it back.
I thought that spring had finally arrived in The Frozen Tundra because we had two gorgeous days (in a row.) Winter has once again reared its ugly head. It is below freezing as I speak and it was actually snowing a bit today. Not enough snow to be concerned about but snowing none-the-less.
I am off to the floor to get some sleep!
I’m happy you have your camera back. I’m also happy that we don’t have any of the snow. You have my permission to be greedy and keep it all. I DON”T WANT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)- – – –

Happy Easter! 🙂 I am glad you found your camera, too. Enjoy your Easter feast today. I am afraid my Easter feast is going to be a ham sandwich and a chocolate Easter egg. Have you heard from SunshineGuy? I am worried sick about him. Luv, 🙂
