Grandma Again!

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

My thermometer thingy says 48° but it is cloudy and looks like rain. I am so tired of this dismal weather. I want sunshine on a cloudy day! I want to brighter days!

Work last night was a challenge! GW’s grandmother passed away so we were short staffed. So of course ever Joe, John, and Mary wanted to play cards. OpD and her hubby came in and requested that the third table be opened. Can’t you see that I have heavy pull-tab players and two tables going already? No, I did not say that out loud but I thought it. We lost our pull-tab players because there was no one at the jar bar to sell pull-tabs while the jar person was tracking a dealer off the table. I even had to jump into the rotation. Didn’t I just mention something about that and it has not happened for a long time.

I am so glad that I am getting this cyst (my sister) removed from my wrist soon. It really started hurting Sunday and it has not stopped. I hope that I can take the pain for the next two and a half weeks. But that is what I get for waiting so long before doing something about it.

When I got home from work I let the Grace and George in. Dick puts them out because he does not want them in the house but since I get home last I let them in if they are hanging around the door. It is a good thing that I let them in because Grace was in labor. I have been watching her and waiting. Poor little thing looked like she was ready to explode!

She had a tan baby then a gray baby. She delivered three stillborn gray babies 🙁 then one more live gray baby. So we have three live ones. Speaking of which…I have a mess to clean up.

I forgot that Grace got off the blanket and went under Nadine’s bed and she delivered her first baby before I put a trash bag under the blanket. OxyClean to the rescue!

I can not believe that it is time to get ready for work already. The day sure goes fast when you don’t wake up until almost one in the afternoon after staying up until almost seven in the morning. I stayed up with Grace because the babies were breech. It is so weird because the three that are alive were breech but the three still births came out head first. Two of the still babies were the biggest ones and the other one was deformed.

Time to get in the shower!

Great! Tim talked me into promising him a kitten last winter but I told him he had to wait until spring. I guess spring is finally here, huh? If you will be giving the kittens away when they are big enough, Tim would love to have one. Let me know and I’ll gove you my email address in a private note. 🙂
