Friends

I guess that it is time for an update of any kind.

I am not sure about the new OD setup. Like everything else I will just have to get used to the change. If you know me I don’t do change very well. I can and I will, I just don’t like to.

I had to reformat my hard drive again. In December I did it without losing all my photos. This time…not so much. All the photos ~ GONE. I am heartbroken! I have older pictures on a disc and I thought that I had the recent (like the last three years) pictures on a disc. Tried to look at the pictures on the disc…not a one on there. I am heartbroken.

Now I need to scan, scan, scan to get pictures to make Nadine’s graduation video. I “talk” about it and think about it but I have yet to start. I will be scrambling at Graduation time. I like it like that.

Things at home are pretty mellow. I thought for a while that Dick was going to sober up. I thought wrong! As long as he does not drink and drive or lie we get along great. We can be friends as long as he does things my way. I am right, he is wrong and we both know it. I am smart, he is dumb. Hehehe!

Last night I went to town and hung out with a friend that I have not seen since 1981! We talked and laughed like we were teenagers again. She and I got to be super friends right before I moved from Minnesota to North Dakota. I knew who her husband was from riding the same bus but other than that I didn’t really “know” him. He is a hoot and so sweet! I really had a good time. It was like we never missed a day ~ just like when Roller Beth and I found each other again!

It makes me so happy yet it makes me sad because I don’t really have friends like that who live near me. I have one pretty good friend that I can tell “almost” anything to but not everything. Thank God for telephones, computers, and the internet.

Must post and get something done around here today.
