Easter Candy Sixty Dollars Worth

I am not quite sure but I would venture to guess that Dick is not coming home tonight. Oh darn! sorry I did not mean to drip sarcasm all over you! Just for the record, ya know!

I am cooking for Easter. We are having meatballs ~ that is what they want. I would much rather make meatballs than have to clean a turkey. I am not sure what else I will make with meatballs other than mashed potatoes and gravy. I have to get to the grocery store tomorrow I have procrastinated too long again. At least I do not have to get Easter candy ~ I have it already. I stopped at Wal*Mart one day last week to pick up some things that we need around the house. We still need those items because I did not pick up a single item on the list. I did manage to spend $90 ~ but only $60 was on Easter candy! Hey I have to prepare five baskets ~ I have to include Dereks girl. Plus I always like to leave a plate on the table. The plate keeps Dick out of the kids baskets.

I was talking to Beth tonight and realized how much I need a break from work. I really need a break from work! I could have had a two day break but I was not smart enough to schedule myself OFF for a paid holiday again. Actually I did think about it but a lot of the kids had requested it off. One was scheduled but got a replacement. If he had not gotten a replacement we would have worked short staffed because he had to go. He had to go to Boston! I would love to go to Boston. He is a sports reporter for the university how could I not let him go! Go SIOUX! I should be adding a coffee mug to my collection because I told him that I need a mug from Boston ~ I do have a Cheers mug but I want another Boston mug. Bribery ~ you can have the time off but bring me a coffee mug! Hehe!

I stayed up way too late last night (this morning, yesterday morning) so I am going to sleep now. I started using the comforter off the bed as padding on the floor. I have lost that now. Tyler is using it for his sleeping hut! He has the mini-pool table covered and he is sleeping under it.
