Down

If you’d like to read about he Dru Sjodin case this is the link to the articles in the local newspaper

Damn it ~ I want to shake this “down feeling” but it just keeps getting worse.

I had to go to the grocery store today so that I can make Easter Dinner here at home. Rather than going across the state for Easter as I had planned I will be staying home because I have to work. I will be filling the shifts of the guy who did not show up for work last week.

I was chatting with Dirty Girl on Yahoo yesterday and she told me that she talked to him at the bar over the weekend. Apparently he had an interview in the cities. He said that he told me about it and I told him that it was his responsibility to find someone to cover his shift. Which in most work places that would be the case. Had he told me that he had an interview I would have told him to go. I have never stopped one of “my kids” from going to an interview even if we have to work short staffed. I know that this job is just a job to get them through college. An interview could be the job of a lifetime. A career! Why would I stop him from going to an interview? I am so glad the Dirty Girl has known me long enough to know that what he said is so untrue. I feel like calling him and kicking his ass!

I have always said if I am doing something worth talking about then talk about me. But don’t lie about me! I just hate that!

I have been mourning the loss of my camera and now I am really sad about not being able to go home for Easter. My sister and I had plans! She bought a Jukebox from my sister-in-law who is moving to Florida. It is filled with music from the 80’s. We were going to jam! I know that does not sound like a real big deal but when we were in high school we were really into the music. Most of our paychecks were spent on 45’s and albums. For any young readers ~ we did not have CD’s back then. On my stereo I did not even have a cassette player but I had an 8-track player!

It just dawned on me to check the paper for a lost and found ad. Maybe the person who found my camera did not trust the school to return it. I think it is a long shot because there were people from all over including Winnipeg but I am going to check it out. Nope! No ad for my camera. But they are searching the Red Lake River for Dru!

Now I am going to have a rest. I feel like I did not sleep at all last night/this morning.

You kick his ass and while your at it give him a good swift kick for me…i think the little bastard should find someone or work so you do not have to miss out on your Easter plans. {{hugs to you}}
