Cold Day ~ Wednesday

I have had entries typed into documents on my desktop. I know that someone read my Labor Day entry but I don’t care. It says nothing incriminating. Just the facts!

I don’t know why I didn’t post both entries Tuesday. But here it is Wednesday and they are still on my desk top. Well I did post the Labor Day entry so that was a lie.

I am just sitting here nursing a cold. It is something that is going around. I hope that it does not hang on too long. Same old gripe ~ if I weren’t so achy I could handle it. Then again if I weren’t achy I would probably say “if I weren’t so stuffy” or if my nose didn’t run so much. I can handle it!

I was sleeping before midnight ~ that is early for me. I was awake at 4 AM. I felt like I was awake for the day but I took more cold medicine and found something to watch on tv. That will knock me out every time! I slept until 7 and I have been up since. It really feels like nap time but I want to wait a bit and nap before work.

I can not call in sick even though I want to. We are short staffed Wednesdays because three of the boys play co-ed softball. Calling in sick is out of the question!
