I wish I could have gotten a picture of Tyler and his friend this morning. I looked out the window to see what they were doing. They had been on the trampoline. The neighbor boy was already on the ground and Tyler was sitting on the edge of the trampoline. His friend was trying to help him put his shoes on. Purely the action of a friend helping a friend!

I got to chat with Derek today. I just realized how long it has been since he has been out here. He has not been here since before I painted the living room and dining room! I told him that I am going to put my foot down and drag him out here.

He is going to supper with us tonight. It is Dick’s birthday so he has to decide where we are going for supper.

You should have seen Tyler’s face when I told him that Dick is 99. He got all wide-eyed and said “so next year he will be one hundred…..if he lives that long.” Then he asked how old I am. I told him 21!

It is funny how he has no concept of age ~ what can be expected at his age ~ he will be 8 in the beginning of November.

I must go shower and get ready to go!
