I know I’m not perfect, 
I’ve had days I regret.
I’ve stumbled and fell short
once again.
The man I want to be, 
It seems he is not here.
Only this decayed shell
of my fears.
While I may be broken
I refuse to lose faith
I can be something more
than this wraith

It reminds me of mine
Tormenting the far depths
of your mind

A relentless assault
to behold

I’m more than these failures
in my past

The rock to which you cling
