What the jizz?!
Seeing as I still have about 35 minutes left of November 1st, I’ve decided that this year I’m going to try and participate in NoJoMo.
Let’s start with a quick update of what I did Halloween. =) I went to see Saw V with Tamara and Alexis. They weren’t into it so much as I was, but they haven’t seen all the Saw movies. I know they just get progressively worse, but I knew I could count on this one to make me squirm a little. After the movie we went to Dairy Queen to say hi to Sarah. We stayed for awhile and then dropped Tamara off at home. Alexis and I ended up at Rolla’s house and one thing led to another and before long we were in the back of Kim’s car speeding all around town. Pretty fun. =) We did a straw-run at McDonalds haha.
When I got home Mollie had her friends Allison and Lauren over. I decided to bring the car keys into my room with me because Mollie passed her driving test on Thursday. While she can’t legally drive anyone but me and our parents, I wouldn’t put it past her to sneak out and drive her friends across town.
Today was lots of fun. ^-^
I went with Tamara to el dia de los muertos celebration at the library because she get credit in Spanish for writing about what she saw. Afterwards we went to Blockbuster and I signed up for my own account so we could rent some movies our parents definitely wouldn’t approve of. We then went to my house and disappeared into the basement to watch them.
Mysterious Skin was pretty good, but also pretty fucked up.
Denied was disappointing. We were expecting lots of mansex, but what we got was a very low budget film that tried way too hard to be deep and thoughtful. There were some pretty good one-liners, though…
"I am pretty gay."
"A hole is a hole."
So yeah, I just dropped Tamara off at home awhile ago and sent her off with the books The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Rainbow Boys. She showed me an unfinished dress that she’s been stitching by hand. How much do sewing machines cost? That’s what I want to get her for her birthday.
Peter wanted me to stop by the movie theater today and say hi to him (he works there now) and Tom and Alexis wanted me to go bowling. I pretty much blew them all off, but I don’t feel too bad about it because I haven’t hung out with just Tammy in a long time. We could have gone bowling with everyone else, but I’m glad it was just us.
Blockbuster doesn’t have any decent porn, just “snickering and jiggling” tittilation (one of my favorite words ever) movies. Basically, “hard R” rated stuff. There used to be lots of independent movie rental places that would have a back room full of real X-rated stuff but the chain rental places have put most of those places out of business now.

Can I officially add you as a NoJoMo participant?

Ooh, I like your pretty new colours! 😀 Sewing machines (here) start around $150, but that gets you a very nice Singer, like the one that’s in my closet that I’ve been planning to use for almost 3 years now. 😉 Maybe you could find one on Craigslist? They last forever (My mom’s is probably 40 years old, and mine came with an unbelievable 25-year warranty!) and I don’t think sewing technologies have advanced a lot lately. Haha, that movie sounds like something I would have rented after I turned 18, if I were brave enough to, and if me or a friend had a place to watch it without parental interference. 🙂

Haha, speaking of porn… Scott and passed this indepedant video store on the bus that had the XXX section on the back wall, right beside new releases. 😉
