So I said to the Wife-Unit when I walked back into the house:
Its a good thing we had that salad last night!
The potato and cabbage patches are doing fine.
So are the green onions.
But the damn deer got some of the beans and all of the lettuce.
Anybody got some good recipes for venison stew or roasts?

VICKs Vapor Rub or menthalatum (SP). Bought some stuff last yr to keep the deer out and it spelled just like Vicks.

I lived on venison for over 20 years! People don’t understand how hunters can kill deer. My daughter is no longer alive because of a deer on the highway. People also don’t understand that if they aren’t thinned out they will starve to death. Not a kind death. OK, I’ll get off my soapbox now.
