– Cherry Blossoms –
Last Spring I had intended to take some close-up photos of the cherry blossoms.
Unfortunately I waited a day too many. Mother Nature had other plans. She tossed in a very heavy rain that beat hell out of the blossoms.
This year I didnt wait.
Set up the ladder and grabbed the Canon.
Did some adjusting through Photoshop Elements and here are the results.
It has been a couple of days since I took the photos and we have had some rain but nothing really heavy so the blossoms werent destroyed.
There has been some heavy rain just northwest of our place and that puts a bit of a damper on the grandsons and my plans to hike up to Old Argonne. There are a couple of places on the trail that will be mud holes. It gets a little hard to hike up hill with forty pounds of mud on each shoe.
This makes me homesick for DC. 🙂

Lovely photos. That ladder thing bothers me a little. I need to get out the ladder to trim an evergreen in the back yard and am a little unsure of my ability to do so.
