Winter Storm Warning…..again
Yes, ANOTHER freaking winter storm is headed this way. As if we didn’t already have enough snow…as of right now, the nonsense should start sometime late tonight and last through about late tomorrow night, with most of the actual precipitation ending around early evening. As of right now, they’re calling for up to .1" accumulation of ice, followed by 8-12"+ of heavy wet snow, ending sometime late tomorrow afternoon or early evening, with winds not dying down til even later than that. I suspect we won’t be headed to church tomorrow…and unfortunately it’ll mean I have to deal with preparing sharing time on my own, since we didn’t have class last week due to the weather either. Oh well.
Im not sure this is true, but I read that during famine there is a natural decline in the breeding of deer and other wildlife, and that states like Wisconsin which rely on hunting revenue actually feed them during famine and harsh winters to keep the population from declining. Of course without the wolf and other natural predators there would still probably be too many deer, and nobody wants tosee them starving. I dont know the solution. Maybe there is none. But of the hunters Ive known, less than half seem competent to carry guns.
