Winter Coat

I have several jackets I can use during the spring and fall months.  I have a very lightweight reversible jacket.  I have a lightweight Cubs jacket.  I have a heavier jean jacket from the Hard Rock Cafe in Kuala Lumpur (capital of Malaysia – country located in the South Pacific if you’ve never heard of it.  Here’s the wiki page for it (opens in new window). )  In other words, it’s irreplaceable since I doubt anyone I know will ever go back there.  It’s a heavier jacket than either of the other two I have.  It’s relatively warm and alright at blocking out the wind.  I then have a wonderful Columbia jacket that has two parts to it – and I can take them apart.  It has a warm fleece inside and then a windbreaker outside.  Late in spring and early in the fall I’ll wear the windbreaker part while I wear the fleece part during early spring and late fall.  Today I wore the jean jacket and well…I was cold waiting for the bus.  39 degrees and windy this morning.  Next week is going to be cold!  Our temps are going to be right about normal (50ish during the day, 30ish at night) through Monday.  Monday: 49/31 ~ Tuesday: 44/29 ~ Wednesday: 46/33 ~ Thursday: 40/31 ~ Friday: 45/39 ~ Saturday 45/42 (that’s from weather.com’s 10 day forecast).  Looks like I’m going to have to put my Columbia jacket back together next week.  *Sigh* I’m not ready for it to be November…but it is whether I like it or not.

Those two part jackets are the best, I have one from L.L. Bean and wouldn’t trade it for anything. I hope you stay nice and warm.
