Week 16

Tonight’s entry marks 16 weeks of journalling.  I spent the day down in Illinois visiting my grandparents. But before we left, I found the old LSAT book I had from two years ago when I thought about taking it (but didn’t). So now I have another set of questions to play with – something I’m grateful for.  Anyway, I spent the drive down studying and then most of the drive back studying.  We played cards with my grandmother, which was fun.  Many of my fondest memories with my grandparents are playing games, particularly with my grandmother.  And then we came home, watched the end of the Badger game (they lost) and then watched Star Trek.

I guess the thing on my mind is trying to remember that things happen on the Lord’s time and not on our’s.  I’ve mentioned it before, but a good friend of mine from high school is getting married – next weekend as I’ve come to find out.  Over the last few years, we’ve lost touch.  I’m trying to remember that the things in my life will happen on the Lord’s timetable and not on mine – and that the Lord’s timetable is better than mine.

another set of questions is an awesome thing to have.

It’s so hard for me to be patient and wait on the Lord’s timetable, but I am learning, just like you are, that His way and time is always the best and better than mine! lol.
