Waiting for my brothers to leave

I can’t begin to tell you how ready I am for my brothers to leave.  Thankfully, it’s just 10 days away.  They leave around 3:30 am on Thursday the 21st of August.  So I’ll have the house to myself for Thursday morning, Thursday night, Friday morning, and most of Friday night (before I have to head to the airport to pick up my dad) and then it will be me and my dad until my mom gets home late Sunday morning or early Sunday afternoon. Then, my dad leaves again Monday morning. 

I’m really hoping to hear some good news from the law firm tomorrow.  I could hear as early as tomorrow.  Supposedly she’d call me either way, but I heard that line from Pizza Hut and never heard back (even if I didn’t want the job after all!).  In any case, I’m definitely crossing my fingers!  I’m not really looking forward to work tomorrow at the temp job but such is life I suppose. 

We’ve had absolutely great weather the last few days and it looks to continue.  We’ve had highs around 80 and lows in the low to mid 50’s.  Tonight our low is 47!  That’s approaching record territory for this time of year.  We *might* have seen the last of the air conditioning until next spring/summer.  We could still see some mid 80’s during the days, but mostly we’ll have temps in the mid to upper 50’s at night. So long as it doesn’t get unbearably humid again, the air probably won’t go on again.  Unless we get a nasty cold spell in September, we likely won’t  turn the heat on til mid to late October. 

Nothing much else to mention….I’ll definitely keep this updated as to the law firm, since I know there are people here pulling for me!
