Updates all around…again :)

Sorry  I haven’t been online much of late – I’m in the process of speeding up my computer and unfortunately that’s not a slow procss by any means.  But I thought I’d send out updates on what’s gone on since my computer went wonky on me.  I’m doing this quick, as I don’t have long on this computer (I’m currently borrowing another computer in the house).

  1. I saw The Dark Knight yesterday morning and LOVED it!  I have to say, Heath Ledger was as good as advertised.  I loved him in it and I found him really creepy and psychotic.
  2. I had my five year reunion on Saturday afternoon. I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed. I mean, it was good to see some of my friends from high school, but *shrugs* I don’t really have anything in common with them anymore.  Plus, when I graduated, I knew less than half of my class. I think we had in the neighborhood of 235 of us, but I only moved there the summer after freshman year, so if I didn’t have a class with someone, I really didn’t have the opportunity to get to know them – and there are only so many classes you have in a three year period in high school.
  3. I should hear something early this week about the job I interviewed for last week.  They have interviews scheduled through tomorrow or Tuesday, so the staffing agency I went through told me to call on Wednesday if I hadn’t heard anything – if for no other reason than to touch base with them.
  4. I’m working on getting my life where I want it to be.  There’s a website that’s helping me remember to read my scriptures – http://www.readthescriptures.com.  For someone like me who has ADD, it’s a wonderful site, since it will email me the day’s scripture readings every morning.  I simply set up a scedule of what I want to read and how fast I want to read it (I’m currently reading a chapter of the Book of Mormon everyday).  But it’s nice, since it will send me the day’s readings.  I can then click a link within the email message that says either completed, or completed and send me more.   Or, I can read online on their website and do the same things.  It’s really nice and it’s helping me to be better about reading my scriptures everyday.  Now if only I could find a way to remind myself to pray daily.  Seriously, I hate how thoughts flit in and out of my head!  *Oh well*

I think that’s it for now. . .
