Now Comes the Waiting Game
As the title suggests, now starts the waiting game. The LSAT’s over. It’s completely in the Lord’s hands now. I’ll find out January 4th how I did. In the meantime, I work on filling out all the application information so that when my LSAT score comes in, I can send the applications off if I scored high enough. If I didn’t score high enough, then it’s back to the study books so that I can take it again in February.
In other news, it still sounds like we’re going to get 1-3 inches of snow tomorrow night and then what could be a nasty storm Tuesday night into Wednesday. It’s sounding like my drive home from work on Tuesday could be ugly. If they’re right, then I’ll ride into work on Wednesday with my dad (he works just down the street from my office) as his truck has 4WD. It’s still too early for the weather guys to give specific amounts for a specific area, but they’re pretty sure multiple someones in the Midwest are going to see some nasty winter weather.
Let’s see…I’m also singing in Sacrament meeting next Sunday (week from tomorrow). Brianna and I were talking about getting together one day this next week to go over the song one last time. Our usual night is Wednesday night, but given the current weather forecast, that may not be feasible. I’m sure we’ll work something out.
I’m looking forward to not getting up with the sun on Monday. I’m also then going to spend some time at the mall and at Sears while getting my car ready for winter (good timing, eh?) and getting my oil changed. I’m also going to do a little Christmas shopping while I’m at the mall. And then I’ve got a doctor appointment in the afternoon. Either way, it’ll be nice to not be on the phones all day. I’m handling the phones well enough at work, but there’s so much more to remember and do with incoming calls, and there are significant differences in procedure between incoming calls and outgoing calls. The switching back and forth is still driving me a little nuts. Last week I tried to give the phone number to someone on incoming (we have to give the phone number out when we do outgoing calls). Little things like that. And then we log the calls differently in the system as well. I’m sure as time moves on, I’ll get better at the switch. *Shrugs* All I can do is my best. I’m not too concerned with beyond that, mostly because by this time next year I’ll either be in law school, at a new job, or searching diligently for a new job.
So now I wait. Mostly I hate waiting and being in limbo, but this limbo has an end date and a purpose. Four weeks from Monday I find out.
