My aunt’s on the phone…not good

This can’t be good.  My aunt just called and is talking to my mom.  Never a good sign, since we talked to her just on Friday night.   My mom asked how my grandfather was holding up.  Just hearing my mom’s side of the conversation, I have to wonder if my grandmother is in the hospital.  Sounds like my grandmother has an infection – not good.  My first question will be whether we need to head to IL. 

My grandmother had been having issues with her leg – it’s been hurting and hurting bad. She had her usual doc appointment on Friday and the first thing they did was do an ultrasound to make sure it wasn’t a blood clot.  Thankfully, it wasn’t but they weren’t sure what it was.  Now they know it was a skin infection. She ended up in the hospital where they gave her some antiobiotics and sent her home. She can be up and about for an hour a day, otherwise she has to be laying down with her leg elevated.  I suspect this is likely the beginning of the end.  I ask you, pray that we’ll all be able to deal with what comes.
