It’s Here!

That’s right, my hardbound copy of my ldsjournal arrived today πŸ™‚ I decided to order it once a year, so it covers July-December 2009.  It’s wonderful πŸ™‚  I’ll definitely do it again once 2010 is complete.  In other news, I’ve almost certainly got a sinus infection, one that will land me at the doctor’s office at some point this weekend.  How I’m feeling will determine if that doctor visit is Friday afternoon or first thing Saturday morning. In either case, it’ll be a visit to urgent care to get it taken care of as my doc doesn’t have office hours on Friday afternoon.  But at this point, I’m fairly certain my cold ended up a sinus infection. That doesn’t mean surgery wasn’t helpful – I’m definitely breathing better than I would be otherwise, and even the average person gets sinus infections from a cold from time to time. The question will be whether this first round of treatment takes care of the problem or if it lingers through the remainder of the winter.  In the past, a single sinus infection would doom me for the remainder of the winter. We’ll see what happens this go-round.

I’ve been tired today as a result of the sinus infection and will likely head to bed early, even if it means missing the end of the Badger game on tv.  Tomorrow is a full day of work for me, but I do have a meeting with my old team (not quite sure why I need to attend that meeting – I’m not actually part of that team anymore, but who knows). And then on Friday I’m off work at 1:30.  So I don’t have another full day on the phones until Monday (whoo hooo for that one!)  I’ve got time on dialer this week and then next week.  Then the week of Feb 1st we get the rest of incoming training. At that point my autodialer work will likely come to a complete end, unless they get REALLY far behind.  Given that I won’t be considered fully trained (six months of meeting your stats following the end of your training) by the time I leave for classes, I won’t start flexing (moving automatically between incoming and dialer based upon incoming call volume).

My old boss was going to fax the letter of recommendation yesterday or today so from there it’s 7-10 business days before it’s in my file.  At this point I’ll likely know about DePaul before that letter is in my file as I should know about depaul within the next 2 weeks.  But NIU is the school I really want into but I need that second letter.

Glad it arrived. I may have to consider ordering mine sometime, but I’ll stick with waiting at least until I’m in a little more permanent of a location. Storage might be an issue right now.
