I bought my camera

I bought my camera 🙂 I ended up going with the Nikon CoolPix s550.  It’s 10MP and 5x zoom but doesn’t have a viewfinder.  It’s a tiny camera too.  The camera is just barely bigger than the battery charger :-P.  I got it and a 4gb memory card for $177 (with tax), whereas the other camera I wanted was onsale at Sears for 199.99 (and that doesn’t include needing to buy a memory card as well).  So I’ll have pictures this weekend to share.  I should be getting pictures soon from my uncle and new aunt from yesterday at my other aunt’s house.  My mom and I forgot to take the camera with us, so my uncle’s going to send us the pics.  I’ll post some of them here when I get them, and I’ll also post some this weekend of the snow we’re going to get (more on that below) and of my family and dogs 🙂  Right now I’m waiting for my battery to charge so I can play with my camera. 

As for the snow, it would appear we’re going to get 3-6 inches of snow on Sunday (with the higher amounts closer to the lake).  I’ll take some pictures of that, as I know there are people here that like to see them.    It was nice not having to go to work yesterday and today 🙂 and especially knowing that my weekend isn’t even half over yet :).  I’ve enjoyed having my youngest brother home the last two days, though I haven’t seen much of him.  He’s always nicer to me than my other brother.  I think our good relationship has a lot to do with having two years mostly to ourselves while our other brother was away at school.
