Grinning like a Fool Again
I think ecstatic about covers it tonight. Where to start? Okay, first – this was a free communication weekend for eHarmony. I got an initial communication request this morning. That person liked fast track, but I had guided communication, so I requested fast track and have yet to hear from him. Then another of my new matches from today sent me a communication request. We went through ALL the guided communication steps today. He’s LDS and from Florida and I just feel like I could talk to him forever. It’s so strange to think that we could talk forever. I’ve been grinning like a fool for most of the evening. I’m going to pray about him tonight and see what my Heavenly Father says about him. But it feels like even if he’s not *the one*, that he’s someone I could easily be good friends with and make a positive impact on my life. I’m so amazed at how easy I find it to talk to him and how easily we’re talking about the gospel. I’m definitely feeling the warmth in my heart from the Spirit, but I’ve not yet figured out if that means he’s *the one* or if he’s someone who will be important in my life, or is simply someone that won’t hurt me.
In other news, I REALLY needed the day off from work today. It was so good to just do nothing for a good chunk of the day. I think we all need those days every once in awhile. It’s my last full day off between now and surgery too, so I definitely needed to take advantage.
My heart is so full tonight. I am truly recognizing the hand of the Lord in my life. Now that I’m finally doing what I should be doing, not only can I see the blessings the Lord has given me, but He’s seen fit to give me more of them!
"Life is measured not by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."
Recognizing the Lord in your life is amazing. I’m glad you’re listening too.
