And he wins again!

I admit it – I’m an Obama fan 🙂 And he won again today in South Carolina – showing that his win in Iowa was not a fluke.  Oh, and he kicked the tar outta Clinton today 🙂  I know some of you might be wondering why I’m not a Mitt Romney supporter (as he’s LDS – Mormon as well).  Mostly it comes down to the war in Iraq – he believes we should still be there and doesn’t seem to have any plans to get out –  I firmly believe we need to get out and we need to get out now.  Furthermore, we as Mormons believe in free agency – the ability of everyone to make their own choices.  In particular, when it comes to things like homosexuality and abortion, I’m of the mind that I don’t have the right to tell someone how to live their lives in those arenas.  My views are a result of my religion, so what right do I have to tell someone else that they’re wrong?  Since those views come as a result of my religion, what right do I have to force that religion on someone else?  Yes, I want them to join the church, but I don’t think anyone has the right to force it on someone.  So while I don’t think homosexuality or abortion is right, those are choices I’ve made for me and I don’t feel I have the right to make those choices for someone else, especially someone else who has a different belief structure than I do.
