So here I am on the dial up again. I’ve moved the PC to the bedroom, left the Mac in the other room.

Never really got on with having a comp in the study, computers should be in bedrooms. Surrounded by mugs of tea. possibly.. 🙂

Whats been happening over the past few week? Been working HARD. February was a bit of a disaster area at work. What with moving to the head office on the cards a complete change in management and even more worryingly desperately low amounts of business. A lot of late nights in the office (9pm finishes!) and eary starts meant that March was OK. Alright. Skin of your teeth thumbs up..

This month? Well, that remains to be seen, But I’m nursing some rough lungs at the month. The whole coughing up blood and green and black mucus thing luckily went away (I think). I’m just stuck with a nasty bit of hard to shift tonsilitis.

Yeeess.. Maybe I should go to the Dr’s and get some antibiotics or something, its just finding the time! As long as I haven’t caught chronic pneumonia I should be fine! =D

To be honest though I’m having such an amazing time at work, even though its supposed to be stressful and a bit mad, I’m just having so much fun! My collegues think I’m slightly crazed and I’m not really trying to set the record straight. Oops..

In Other News
Sister is back from Norway now as it all gone a bit pete tong. She’s been diagnosed with the worst kind of bipolar affective disorder, so lots of care and attention are being heaped on on her at the moment to make sure she is OK, Just have to avoid the flying cutlery. I really hope she gets well. I know it won’t be soon, But hey, thats what brothers are for.

Went to see NightWish at the Astoria. got in from work feeling like a sack of spuds and went online for the first time in days, had a heart attack on seeing that they were playing in London and. TICKETS WERE STILL ON SALE! one travel card and £17.50 later saw me in standing on the balcony talking to random german Au-pairs and singing along gobsmacked to a quite brilliant band. I really shouldn’t have gone out as I was really feeling bad, but hopped up on Lemsip. Red bull & Beechams cold and Flu, I just about made it up to the encore. Heard the crowd erupt into “HAMSTER! DENTIST! HARDPORN! STEVEN SEAGULL!” felt like my head was going to explode with cold, so I made a quick escape and floated home with a big grin on my face.

Seriously, I am still just so blown away by the whole thing. “Sahara” for instance, played Live. WOAH.
*giggles inanely*

That was 24 hours of coincidence too. As I got off the tube at waterloo. I literally bumped into Cath and her sister on the platform! shes off to New York for 2 weeks, so will catch up with her in a few days.

The next day at work, the couple who were stood in front of me at the gig, wandered through the showroom. slightly freaked out, I stood in the tower pointing and making faces, They wandered off after a while.

I met up with Steph and Danny a few weeks ago, those two are great and a great filip to anyones day. over the past few weeks, we’ve spent too much money in random irish restaurants in Kensington and pokey but gorgeous bistro’s in Soho. Of course I couldn’t make it to last weeks meet up due to loosing my wallet.

ARRGH!

Found it the 48 hours later in the back of a Hi-Lux. Damnit. I do not like the seating position in those things anymore. Why on earth in a Pick-up, are the seats lower set then in an Open top roadster? makes no sense to me and also causes wallets to be lost. apart from that, great truck.

Driving a Prius full chat returs 42.6mpg.
Driving one normally returns 60.2mpg
that is officially INSANE.
and also very economical.
