The One with Flow

I thought I would pop in for a minute and do a little update before I get back to some work I have to get done.

Things are going well in general. I am sort of having an "everything is pissing me off" sort of day & night. Actually it started earlier today or maybe yesterday. I can’t be sure. My dear friend has taken the last two days off because she put her dog down today and so she has been looking for reassurances and has just been extra chatty in general. It’s great, I love chatting (texting) with her, but there is a two hour time difference and I DID NOT take the last two days off of work! It is hard to keep up when I am trying to get my work done, but I want to be there for her.
Hopefully the healing starts and she gets back on track soon.

Work has been decent. It never really changes. Some days are better than others. It is a go with the flow sort of thing.

I haven’t been doing nearly enough work at home. I did commit to knitting last night while watching the game. Tonight is my night to do some work. I balanced the checkbook and paid a few bills. I still have to do some filing and some cleaning. I just needed a little break, so I sat down to get caught up on some videos and just veg a little bit.

I need to repack my work bag as well. Plus I need to pull some stuff out and take photos. So many little things.

My moods are all sort of off. I have been really kind of crabby lately. Just little things are irritating me. It doesn’t help that I have had some chronic pain in my arms. I know what causes it, but not how to fix it. I am not conscious when the event happens. I tend to toss and turn at night and usually end up on my stomach with my arms scrunched up underneath me. The pain throughout the day is horrible. It happened the other night and when my alarm went off I couldn’t handle the phone because my hand was that numb. No clue how to stop doing that.

The weather has been weird. It was cold, really cold, then snowed, then was cold, then got a little warm. It is just odd and that kind of adds to my left arm pain since I have arthritis thanks to a break. Eh…just keep living with it like I have been I guess.

I have been finding it hard to focus and concentrate on any one thing. I figure I watch three shows per week and the rest is just hockey, which I mostly listen to. I just can’t focus. I have a DVR filling up (there is stuff from November still on there) and I just can’t concentrate enough to watch anything. I am hoping this weekend I can get to some of it. I either need to commit to watching it or just delete it.

I won ten dollars on the Super Bowl with a friendly workplace bet. A whole ten dollars. I am putting that with some other won monies into a new account at the bank. Then I will have money directed from my check into that account. It is a great way to save because it is not at my usual bank and therefore I won’t have easy access to it.

Well I think that is enough for now. I didn’t plan on writing this much, it just sort of flowed. Have to take advantage of that when you can.

RYN: Oh I know, believe me. I didn’t grow up here either. In WA when it got to 55 we broke out the shorts and tank tops lol When the weather changed here in the Fall, the first day it was like 40 all the kids came bundled up like it was the arctic. I nearly died. Hats, scarves, coats, mittens, boots. And here I am, never wear anything heavier than a hoodie lol
