school discos

ok so tonight i went to Callums school disco as i knew that the guy who did my 18th russell would be doing it and it would therefore be a laugh.

i noticed a few things that im going to share with you
a) the girls there were wearing the same type of thing us girls wear when we go out, skirts just as short and the ssame style.  when we were their age we couldnt even buy clothes like that in our size!!!
b) some of the tiny girls sure no how to move and it was very clear that a little girl probly only a small 7 yr old maybe even younger had been watching how all the girls on pop videos dance.  wiggling her bum and thrusting and shit like that!! on a small girl in a small skirt thats wrong!! no wonder there are more paedophiles around now, the girls unknowling are handing it on a plate!!!
c)  the dances that we treasure and hold close to our hearts are being changed over time.  example: YMCA the beggining part is no longer pointing with your finger its moving your arms up and the down again over and over again.  saturday night dance has missed out the ‘hip, hip, arse, arse’ part so its faster ect.
d) funny moment when the 5,6,7,8 song came on and none of them knew the dance – a few had some idea of some of the moves but not really.  that supprised me but then i remember that thats our time not theres yet something way before us has carried on.  Blame it on the boggie came on and they all knew a dance to it, which was the same as the one i knew apart from the action to ‘good times’  to us thats a thrusting motion to them its swinging your hands from side to side.  this amused me and i thought it was quite cute!
e) hell is upon us guys – there is a routine for the crazy frog song and unfortunatly its bloody good and uite complicated –  they stupidly played it twice and i couldnt resist trying to learn it so i could amuse you all at school (or whereever) with it!
f) the slow song played at the end was James Blunt ‘ you’re beautiful’  and it made me try and remember what slow songs we had.  i know that ‘my heart will go on’ was popular and ‘think twice’ was always on at garth discos (curtisy(SP) of daisy singing it)  and i remember always dancing with andy kean to that song whenever she sang it!  can anyone think of the others that we had??
g) he played the greek sitaki song and made everyone get up in a circle and do it!!!
h) the ass called me a mum repeatedly even after he saw me, i hope he recognised me.  that made mum laugh cos that made her look like the grandma!!!hehe didnt like that one bit!
i) for furture reference the dance to ‘ show me the way to ….’ consists of walking and walking and some more walking – if anyone was in any doubt what so ever.
j) wow i cant believe i made it to j  thats quite sad. so maybe i lied when i said a few things!

so yes my night has been that of reflecting on my child hood and the child hood of others. 

hehe went in to Mc donalds earlier and it was funny to also see all the ‘cool’ chavs sitting there all dressed up and looking like they were planning to stay for a while.  i suppose everyone had their place to hang out on a friday night when they were younger!  in the summer of 2002 (i was 15) my place was the boot!! imagine that!!! i cant really think anywhere else  oo quite a popular one was passage.  where did all you guys go to have fun and be ‘cool’.  oo actually another places i spent far to long as over the past few yrs was at liam or adz’s house i used to go there very weekend with various different people.

thats the end of my convo with you guys (one sided and far to long i admit!) so im off to bed now night night xxxxx (i do also realise that its 21.50 and i already fell asleep earlier! god im sad!)
