for anyone who was wondering where i was from saturday to thursday i was in minehead at a thing called Spring Harvest.  its a huge Christian festival that is held for a few weeks in minehead and skegness and somewhere else.  its fantastic its basically a huge bible study in the morning with some worship then some choice seminars and then free time till 6.30 when we have a huge worship session and a small talk on various things.  these things are split into age ranges so ours was the 15-21 range which was fantastic.

i started the week definatly not a Christian and i had many questions before i felt i could change that.  first session we were all asked to come forward and stand together and ben and kathleen literally picked me up to get me to move forward by the end of the week it was pointed out that not only was i willing to go up but i was going up alone, i was the first one up from our group and i seemed happy doing it.  by the end of the week i also found myself raising my hands in worship and prayer, something that i felt ridiclous doing at the beginning of the week.  i took communion for the first time on the wednesday night and it was great.  i went up to the front with a few other people and stood in the center while they prayed for us (we went up because our furture careers were going to be in business or economics or law), people stood around, reached our their hands and prayed for us and it felt amazing.
i found that during one of the worship songs called Blessed Be The Name i absolutly broke down and sobbed my heart out for no apparent reason that i could work out but something hit me very strongly.

i went with ben, kathleen and jack to the festival and we camped down the road from it, it was held in a butlins site and the large majority stayed in the accomodation there bt no no we have to get hypothermia (SP) at night!

anyways thats just a very small in sight into it but all i can say to sum it up was it was fantastic, i had a great time with friends and i had a great time worshiping god ( and i realise that many of you at this stage are going to be making throwing up movments but…hey ho ill live with it!!!)
