Yesterday

oh my goodness, it was such a perfect day!

Started off oddly, someone texted at 557a and I was barely awake enough to look at it. It’s my sister Janis, saying she’s going back to work Monday and sending me some $ towards spring break with the kids. Wtf? So I thank her but say don’t worry about it, because with jess out of work there’s just no way I’m going to be able to swing the trip.

Fast forward 3 hours, and I realize it wasn’t Janis, it was Jessie. Huge dork moment, no doubt he thought I was drunk because I was talking about him as 3rd party lol. So we talk, and start trying to figure out how to make this trip happen.

In the meantime, I go to group, and it’s a client appreciation party  pizza, popcorn, movie, and we voted on the cheesy high school type awards – best dressed, most likely to, etc  Well shucky-dern if I wasn’t voted “the rock” for always being there to support my peers, and also an attendance award!  I got a “pet rock” and a $15 gift card for subway.

In the meantime, jess is transferring me money to cover the flight and hotel, and I’ll be driving chloe’s car, so I just have to cover food for us and incidentals.  I get to see my babies in a month!  I’m so excited!!

THEN, as if it hadn’t already been a fantastic day, Eric texted and ended up coming over, so I got to spend some fun time with him (*wink wink*) and went to bed fully exhausted and happy.  I got quality time with everyone important in my life, I’m so lucky!
