Spend Some Time Love (WWW9 Edit)

Last night was awesome. Kyle (from work), Kyle, Ryan (also from work), Eric and Amy and I went out to dinner and then to Ryan’s show downtown. It was a lot of fun – lots of laughs, good times had by all. Then Kyle, Eric and Amy and I went to go pick up three copies of The Wrath of the Lich King expansion for World of Warcraft. Yes, we were waiting outside a video game store at midnight for a video game. It was pretty cool, though, to be honest. Amy and I were two of a very small handful of girls. Amy doesn’t play though, and it was weird, but Kyle and Eric seemed to point that out a lot while we were in line. In any case, Kyle and I got back to his house, installed it, upgraded our accounts, made some Death Knights (mine totally has the coolest name – Delamorte. Not that I think I’ll ever play her much), and then made our way up to Northrend for a quest or two before calling it a night about 2:30am. Which frankly, isn’t that late. I only got about 4 hours of sleep all together, so I am tired though. I’m planning on drinking lots of tea today.

In any case, while getting ready for work this morning I realized I need to do a lot of stuff tonight that unless I write it down and somehow hold myself accountable for it, I won’t do because I’m tired and much too excited to play WoW instead of doing anything responsible. It’s kind of ridiculous, but there you have.

Tonight’s To Do List

  • At least three loads of laundry, ideally I’d like to have all my dirty laundry done
  • My spread in Jenny’s Altered Book because I am a SLACKER (it’s thought out, I just have to do it)
  • Mopping the floor in the common area
  • Cleaning out my bathtub
  • Cleaning up my bathroom sink
  • Opening up my pomegranate to get the seeds for lunches and snacks and things
  • Preparing some other lunch/snack foods for easy accessibility to avoid a weekend full of fast food

I think that’s all I’ll put down. There’s a ton more for me to do, but I don’t want to completely overwhelm myself. Only after these things are done will I allow myself to set up my computer and play WoW or goof around on the internet or anything like that. And if I try to convince myself that I need my computer up for iTunes, I will just have to remind myself that I have an iPod and can listen to that whilst cleaning and being productive. I have to do this and once everything is completed I will feel so much better. Yay productivity!

This Past Week in a Word: Rollercoastery.

Overall Feeling – Emotional: Vulnerable.

Overall Feeling – Physical: Lethargic.

Song Stuck in My Head: The World is Flat by Ryan

Best Meal: Chinese with Kyle, Kyle (from work), Ryan, Eric and Amy.

Website of the Week: None, really.

Projects of the Week: Wristwarmers

Craving of the Week: Pumpkin Cheesecake Ice Cream, which I have managed to not eat in one sitting, which is a miracle.

Not So Cool Things: Certain discussions, admissions and realizations. Having my fairly lame singing attempt heard by someone who probably thinks I’m a slutty bitch.

Cool Things: Ryan’s show! Wrath of the Lich King! Tea! Sock yarn should be here soon! Patons SWS on sale for $1.50 per skein (originally $6.00 per skein)!

New & Improved: My sense of self, in a way.

Question of the Week: When?

Big Ideas: Nothing big. Just trying to get back on track with some sort of schedule.

I Felt Most Accomplished When my first wristwarmer actually turned out well and fit after I seamed it up because I had serious doubts about it and was ready to create a pattern of my own.

To Do For Upcoming Week: See above for tonight. Saturday I have to meet with my potential future landlord. Otherwise I’m just going to try to focus on some sort of routine. Any type of routine, really. Also, getting acheivements in WoW.

Looking Forward To: Sleeping in on Saturday.

I haven’t done my spread yet, either (but the last thing I want to do when I feel like this is craft, in my defense). Eep.

I really wanna play WoW, I just don’t have the time to make it worth paying for. I used to play Everquest and was really into it. Except none of my friends played and frankly, I hate playing with strangers.

Zack and Miri made a porno with House?!! :p I am horribly behind with your book as well, so don’t worry too much about it. I have absolutely no clue what to do for a spread… I have a germ of an idea now, but no clue how to actually go about it.

Look at you, staying up late on a school night. I’m impressed. Hope the tea keeps you going through the day. Err…going, as in, not falling asleep. Nothing to do with the bathroom, though that could be a byproduct, I suppose…
