Home Again, Jiggety Jig (Plans Edit)

I’m home and late for work, so you know things are back to “normal” then. I wish they weren’t. I wish I were still surrounded by ODers, laughing and having tons of fun. I will write my Epic Entry sometime this week after I get things sorted out and pictures uploaded and whatnot. It was such an awesome week, I’m going to take my time to do it justice.

I am glad to be able to talk to and see Kyle again though. I missed him a lot while I was gone, so it was wonderful that the first face I recognized at the airport was his.

Plans Edit

I think I will break the Epic Entry into Manageably Epic Entries just so it feels like I’m not stalling forever on it because I’m already feeling intimidated by the sheer epic-ness of it. I wrote in my pen&paper journal every night before going to bed so that should help with the writing. And of course, as Jenny mentioned, everyone else can fill in the gaps with their entries, too.

I didn’t take as many pictures as I would have liked because silly me didn’t realize that one memory card (a paltry 128MB) wouldn’t be enough to hold all the pictures I wanted to take. I did get some good pictures, but can’t wait to see everyone else’s. I’ll upload those to flickr and facebook as soon as I can.

I want to learn more about Colorado history as I think I probably know more about Newfoundland history now than I do about my own state. I’ll have to check out some books from the library or something.

I need to slip back into being responsible and taking care of adult things again, which I am not happy about. Who wants to take care of getting estimates for a dented fender? I’d much rather reminisce about Newfoundland anyday.

I think everyone’s feeling that way today 🙁 ryn: oh yeah! gah. everything was such a whirlwind.

It makes my head hurt just thinking about writing about this. So much! But at least if you forget something, you can count on someone else to fill in the blanks.

I was glad to be able to meet you at the airport. I missed you a great deal. I look forward to reading about your trip, even though I got a pretty good recap last night. 😀 CB,

*big giant huge hugs* I miss you!

Awww, too cute. I miss you guys. I think everyone is holding out on writing an entry because there is so.much.to.write. Seriously. I know I am! ;o)~jo

ryn: Clearly you missed the vagina song. I think you should probably be thankful for that, there are so many poor individuals going about their day whilst singing about my vagina in the back of their minds. Over, and over, and over, and over, and…~jo

I’ve been resizing pictures for HOURS now, and there’s no end in sight! Aaaaahhhhhhhhh! I wish I’d taken notes during the trip, but come to think of it, I was probably too drunk by bedtime each night to put anything in writing.

I look forward to your entries!

ryn: Oh dude, I totally forgot that Steph was an ODer! She either doesn’t write much or doesn’t let me in on her entries. Hrmmm…I’m pretty sure I have her on my faves though.~jo

Aw, you guys are making me feel really lucky to be living here. Can’t wait to read your entries! There’s nothing quite like getting off a plane and seeing the face of a loved one at the airport. 🙂

Just remember: I know what I know cause I’m bitter. 😛

It was great having you here! I wish I had been around a little more to chat it up with you. Look forward to reading your entries!

ryn: No problemo! I’ll get a pic of it and send it your way! :o)~jo

I have a travel journal, but I didn’t write in it. My friend Ann keeps bugging me to write, but I’m like uggggggggggggg. I don’t have as much to write about I suppose.

I am really enjoying all the entries about this. I’m glad people are taking their time to write them, because it prolongs my gleeful remembrance of the trip.
