Because You’re Standing Still

Good Things:

I started my period today so hopefully that means my hormones will give me a reprieve for a couple weeks while I read up on ways to counteract their effects. Also, this means I’ve been peeing like there’s no tomorrow so hopefully all the water weight I’ve gained over the past two weeks will not show up on the scale tonight.

I wrote in my journal today while sitting outside near the little man-made creek at work.

I had Amy’s Macaroni & Cheese and a Coke today for lunch. I was not able to put extra salt on it which was kind of sad as I am a salt fiend, but it was still tasty.

Katy wrote on my wall today!

My roommate was home last night, so she will probably not be home tonight so hopefully I can blast some Finger Eleven (or a musical soundtrack or two) and clean my room when I get home. Alternately, or perhaps afterwards if I am feeling up to it, I will watch some of my favorite serial killer and work on my spread about some obsessive guy sleeping beside his dead love each night. Uplifting! (It sounds like it’d be awful, but I’m looking forward to it.)

I will probably make stir fry with mushrooms and snow peas for dinner. Yum.

My throat is really scratchy and I’ve been coughing a lot today, but I really do feel a lot better.

Did I mention Katy wrote on my wall?

Also, camping in two weeks! Woooooot!

RYN: I had no idea that Dexter was a show about a serial killer. I didn’t know what it was, but now that you’ve pointed me to the real thing, I realize that I’d been imagining something vaguely like Dexter’s Laboratory whenever someone mentioned it. Only with a really cute three-legged dog.

RYN: Yeah that’s one reason why I like taking the bus too. 😉

RYN: It’s on my Facebook profile, I think… if you go to the music application (iLike, I think it’s called), it’s the one video I have posted there. Yeah, we’ll see if I keep it up too. :p
