Well, life has had its twists and turns. Let’s start with the bad just to get it done and over with. I don’t get to go to Yellowstone, work refused to give me the time off even though I submitted it back in February. The weekend of the 16th I came down with a nasty case of the flu, high fever and all (anything over 99.5 is high for me because my normal temp is 97.6). Called in last Monday, worked Tuesday. Woke up last Wednesday morning with no voice and ended up missing the rest of my work week due to said case of laryngitis.

On towards the good stuff. My OFLA and workman’s comp claims are both likely to get approved. My ear is doing better than the doctor thought it would, which is nice. Makes getting the surgery less urgent (but still needful). I’m working on getting the house picked up after being so sick which is nice. I promised Andrew for his birthday back on the 5th that I would order him a lighting set for portrait shooting and I finally have the funds together for that which makes me happy. Other than that, not much to report.
