I got the best text of my life today! 

Dave texted me to,say Julianne is here, she was born at 6pm, and that Amanda did such a great job! I told him, k had no doubt she did and that I was so excited for them.  

then.. He sent a text that simply read, "she’s beautiful’ , and my hand to god, I tear’d up. September feels so far away, I can’t wait to see them!

I wanted to send Amanda flowers, but I got to thinking, maybe I should send her a Princess Cut Peridot, a loose stone that she can make into whatever she’d like whenever she’s ready. But, Peridot is not an easy stone to find! So the search continues! Maybe I’ll peruse chapters.ca instead and send her a little something until I can find a Peridot!

Flowers require some degree of care, and they’ll just die, but it’s a nice sentiment, and I consider her my sister, do I thinks I can get away with is.

In case you’re wondering, Princess Cut because on, Julianne is her Princess and she really wanted a princess cut diamond for her engagement ring, but her husband preferred the round brilliant (good choice, more shine), and I know she’d love to have a princess cut stone of her first child’s birthstone.

Eek! I’m an Aunt!
