It’s back… with a Vengeance.
We’re finally here in Ottawa after days of driving cross country. I was so excited to wake up in my oldrt neighbourhood… that was until 5:112am, when I woke up to a pretty intense eczema flare up.
I’m starting to lose hope that I’ll ever have any control over this. The THC cream worked wonders for a while, but all of a sudden, I woke up in Saskatoon with a huge, new patch of eczema on the left side of my neck, and the flare ups on my arms are spreading also.
I’m so disheartened. It’s awful. At least one of these outbreaks is causing me grief at any given time, and the patch on my neck is spreading at a rate that I didn’t know was possible, especially since I’m being extra good about not scratching it.
Early this morning, I made peace with the fact that it’s probably going to spread to my face… and maybe it’s my punishment for being so vain, for so long.
I can feel that familiar tingle that starts it off creeping up under my chin. I’m heartbroken because I want to enjoy my time here, and not be consumed by keeping this skin issue under control, but I’m pretty sure, that’s not going to happen.
Grr. It really felt like things were getting better. I wish I could find better information on how to USE the THC cream, not just how to make it… but, how to use it to maximize results. I want to know, how exactly THC helps with skin conditions, and maybe it will help me figure out what my skin is missing so desperately.
Well, today we’re going out to Almonte, and I’m hopefully going to be able to pick up some stuff from my long list of oils and butters (shea and cocao) to help combat this thing.
Anything that will give me a few hours of relief even, I will take.
Maybe it’s time to see a doctor, and do the chemical, pharmaceutical treatment 🙁
Found u on the front page, See if you can find a Hazelwood necklace. It has done wonders for my nieces eczema on her neck especially!

Sorry to hear that you suffer from this affliction. I hope you can get it under control! My affliction is skin cancer (not the deadly kind thankfully, but still, pretty gross when you have a big sore on your forehead). I could get them cut out by a plastic surgeon (have before) but it’s expensive and leaves a scar. This is cheap, leaves no scar, and just takes well over 6 weeks of havinga yucky sore to get over.

Have you tried cutting out wheat and/or dairy yet?

I’d see a doctor. That’s gotta suck. I don’t know too much about that kind of stuff because I only get the tiniest of patches every so often. Is it shingles maybe?

ryn – Thank you for your note. I’m hoping that the further my mom gets away from my siblings and relatives, the more she’ll come to understand me. But religion is such an ingrained thing…I don’t know.
