Whoever you are,

Wherever you may be,

sands of time, please don’t keep

this man from me . . .

Maybe I’ve met you,

or perhaps not . . .

but promise me

you’ll give me a shot.

I came up with this poem in the car earlier. I wish I could come up with more than two stanzas. Oh, well. I’m not feeling very prolific as a writer, so I’ll come back and write more when I do.
