The Wallace Shaun Conehead

Okay, so yeah.  There’s a story here.  See, Melanie and I started talking over IM last night and I asked if she wanted to hang out, maybe go to Friendly’s and get a conehead.  She suggested Barnes and Noble, so she could get hot chocolate, I agreed, and we said we’d meet up in about twenty minutes.  I grabbed some of my quarter rolls out of my change bank so I’d have some money and left the house.  When I went into Barnes and Noble, though, the cafe was mobbed.  There were about thirty people up there!  I saw Melanie fairly quickly and she’d brought her sister, Lauren, so Lauren could pick up something.  We joked about how crowded it was up there and how places we go now always have a million people.  Then we just looked at one another and said "Friendly’s?"

So we wound up at Friendly’s, talking and laughing about different stuff and at the end of the meal, all three of us got cone heads.  Lauren started it, because she said something about how without the cone, it’s just a bald head, and I made a joke about it being called a cue ball sundae or something, and added that it wasn’t completely bald, it had the little side hair, courtesy of the whipped cream.  Then I took a sip of my soda just as Melanie says something like, "Yeah, just like Wallace Shaun."

Yeah, I had to clap my hand over my mouth real quick to prevent them getting sprayed with root beer.

After that we started exchanging Princess Bride lines and Melanie and I were both saying we were gonna watch that when we got home.  So I asked if I could join her and we ended up back at her apartment to watch it.  And she showed me her kitchen gadgets and where she managed to store all the towels she got for the bridal shower.

So yeah.  Ponder it now, all ye who read this, that the guy who plays Vizzini looks like a conehead sundae from Friendly’s . . .
