Thanks For The Advice

To everyone who gave me advice on how to put pictures in the entries, thanks. Um . . . to “Ceasar,” what’s IE stand for? (I’m not the most computer literate person in the world.) I do have the pictures uploaded on to my ftp space. (I use aol.) That’s how the Galadriel and Inu Yasha ones are on my diary front page. I have no problem putting them there, but I can’t do it for entries. If anyone figures out how, please, leave me a note, or IM me with exactly what you did, okay?

On to another annoyance, I’m back once again on an annoyance thing with Jason. Long story short, he never opens up and gives me an answer to anything unless I specify it down to the smallest detail, and he’s at his most desperate to get something across to me. Yet, even when he’s at that point, he doesn’t just volunteer the information. I have to get it out of him. Admittedly, during those times, it’s a lot easier, but still. We’re best friends, and this shouldn’t be something that is constantly happening. Best friends shouldn’t have to force information out of one another. I’m tired of it. So, I decided something. I keep saying that I’m tired of it, so you know what? I’m gonna go to sleep. (Figuratively speaking, since it is almost 11 in the morning and I’ve been up for about two hours anyway.)

::Sighs:: Two hours. That’s what you get when you have a bird who just HAS to wander around your bed and pillows in the wee hours of the morning. See, I’m still debating the merits of getting another cockatiel. Because that way, the two of them could play together, and I hopefully wouldn’t have to worry about letting Ivy out in the morning. Of course, on the opposite side, Ivy could teach the other bird, ‘Hey, let’s play,’ and I could have two birds wandering around my bed in the morning. Oh, well. Ivy knows to come to me, which is absolutely adorable. Seriously, I hold my hand out, and just have to say, “Ivy, c’mere. C’mere, Ivy,” a couple of times, and she climbs off of whatever she’s on, and walks over. And for the most part, she’ll fly to me, though only if she’s sure of where I am. It’s something that I’m working on. Because I want her to be able to fly to me, even if she’s in a panic, because God forbid, she ever got outside with her wings fully grown in, I’d be able to go outside and get her, even if she was in a tree I couldn’t climb. Or too high up in one for me to reach. It’s a simple thing. I have no problem taking a bird out when they have their wings clipped. No matter what the bird, they have their wings clipped properly, they aren’t gonna get far if they try to fly. Heck, even Mike’s bird, an Amazon, doesn’t get that far when he flies, but his kind is more the tree hopper. They’re climbers, rather than fliers. They have the wingspan, but not the tailspan for it. But cockatiels, and another kind of bird I want — macaws — can fly extremely well because they have the wingspan and the tailspan.

Okay, going to quit babbling about birds now. I love them, though, and somehow, assuming I’m out of the house and established on my own, and can easily afford it, I’m going to own a Macaw, a Caique named Bandit, a Cockatoo, and a Hedgehog named Smiley before I’m thirty. Yeah, for expensive animals. I mean, that’s roughly . . . about $4200 dollars right there. Wow . . . Okay, yeah, maybe I won’t do the Fellowship of the Birds thing . . .
