Simply Having A Wonderful Christmastime

Wonderful Christmastime
By: Paul McCartney

The mood is right
The spirit’s up
We’re here tonight
And that’s enough

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

The party’s on
The feeling’s here
That only comes
This time of year

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

The choir of children sing their song
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

The word is out
About the town
To lift your glass
Ahhh don’t look down

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

The choir of children sing their song
They practiced all year long
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong
Ding dong, ding dong

The party’s on
The spirits up
We’re here tonight
And that’s enough

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

The mood is right
The spirits up
We’re here tonight
And that’s enough

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

Ohhhhhhhhh
Christmas time

I had a crazily, brilliant idea!!!  Seems I’m usually having those when the Strawberry Festival is concerned . . .

Anyway, I just came from playing DDR over at FunTime, (ace bandages actually help a little bit, but the metal thingies broke, so I gotta tape them on or something,) and while I was in the car on the way back, I pulled out the tape that has Good Morning, Good Morning from Singin’ in the Rain on it, and listened to that song.  As I was, I started counting 1-2-3-4, and found out it has the same tempo as the DDR songs.  They’re all based off of a 1-2-3-4 tempo!  So, I came home, and pulled out the movie, thinking if I was right . . .

So, I pulled out the movie, put it in, and it was at the Moses song.  I counted along with it, and as I watched, I realized I was right.  Crudely, very crudely, but DDR does teach the rudements of dancing!  I need to watch it enough, but I think that if I do, I could simplify the Good Morning dance enough that we could perform it for the Strawberry Festival!!  I just need to get the music.

Yeah, I know.  I’m crazy, but still.  I think it could work . . .

Okay, it’s later tonight.  I wrote that ^^^ earlier today.

Anyway . . .  I had two McChicken sandwiches, an english muffin with peanut butter and honey, a bag of popcorn, and one and a half english muffin pizzas today.  And I still feel like I want to eat.  Argh!

Oh, well.  I’m getting paid Monday, and will get gas, pay Mike back, send out Dolly’s gift, get something for Mike’s grandma, put some of it aside for food and DDR over the next two weeks, and deposit the rest into my new account.

Speaking of which, I got the letter stating that I’d opened a new account, but no ATM card with it.  I’ll wait a few more days, probably until I get the actual credit card, and if nothing else from the bank comes, then I’ll go over there and ask what’s up.

::Sighs::  It kills me that I’m a take action sort of person, and yet here, there’s no action I can take.  I swear, sometmes I think I’m better of as a hermit.

So much for a wonderful Christmas time . . .  How do I always manage to depress myself?

Sorry, Paul.

Ooo.  Just had deja vu.
