hmmmmmm so I am selfish? I dont think so. STAY OUT OF THIS! [Invested.In.Love]

This note was left on my diary after I posted a note commenting on his/her note on a favorite of mine.  The favorite was talking about different health problems she’s dealing with, and this noter left a note on hers saying something about how the different health problems she has must be fake, otherwise she would tell him/her what’s been going on.  Among the other notes left on the entry were ones calling that person an asshole and such, and I left one saying "God, that noter is selfish…"

I love how people think that even when they post things in a public forum, other people aren’t allowed to get involved or comment on what they say.  And then when someone calls them on their little comments or rants or speeches, they claim, "Well, I have freedom of speech, you shouldn’t censor me!"  You know what?  I have freedom of speech, too.  It’s not something that was bestowed only on you.  And I have the freedom to comment on selfish and stupid notes like the one you gave.  You don’t like it?  Too bad.  Because the flip side of free speech is being held responsible and taking responsibility for the words you release in your ‘free speech.’  If you claim no responsibility, then you have no right to claim freedom of speech.
