Lovely Weather For A Sleigh Ride Together With You

Sleigh Ride

Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing
Ring ting tingle-ing too
Come on, it’s lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling “You Hoo”
Come on, it’s lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you

Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap let’s go
Let’s look at the snow
We’re riding in a wonderland of snow

Giddy-yap giddy-yap giddy-yap it’s grand
Just holding your hand
We’re gliding along with the song
Of a wintry fairy land

Our cheeks are nice and rosy
And comfy cozy are we
We’re snuggled up together like two
Birds of a feather would be
Let’s take the road before us
And sing a chorus or two
Come on, it’s lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you

There’s a birthday party at the home of Farmer Gray
It’ll be the perfect ending of a perfect day
We’ll be singing the songs we love to sing without a single stop
At the fireplace while we watch the chestnuts pop
Pop! Pop! Pop!

There’s a happy feeling nothing in the world can buy
When they pass around the coffee and the pumpkin pie
It’ll nearly be like a picture print by Currier and Ives
These wonderful things are the things
We remember all through our lives

Just hear those sleigh bells jingle-ing
Ring ting tingle-ing too
Come on, it’s lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling “You Hoo”
Come on, it’s lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you

Yeah.  Right.  Lovely weather.  Amidst rain and all that’s going on here.  Blah.

Oddly enough, though, I’m actually in a good mood.  I’ve heard these Christmas songs one too many times today, but still.  Oh, how hysterical is this?  Colleen, Bryan, and Denny gave me and Mike our Christmas presents early.  Colleen got me a Dick Van Dyke show DVD.  How cool is that??  I love that show.  And Denny and Bryan both chipped in for me and Mike and got us a Simpsons Jepardy game.  That’s definitely going to e something we play at the Christmas party . . .

But anyway, the hysterical part is this: Denny got from Colleen a game called Dirty Minds.  It gives you different clues of an object, or person, or occupation, but said in dirty ways.  Like, if it were describing a toothbrush, it would probably say something like, “I go in and out of a wet, squishy area.”

Yeah, though.  The expressions on Denny’s face were priceless.  Every time I read a clue, and he made a face, I started laughing.

It’s a cool game.  But, anyway, the funny part was that, (I can’t believe I still haven’t said this,) I saw the same game at Barnes and Noble, and thought that it would be a perfect game for Denny.

Okay.  Anyway.  Colleen and I talked online about going to a roller rink tomorrow, so I gotta check out the hours at the rinks, and then give her a call.

Hmm . . . I got nothing else to write about, so, I’m gonna go.  Bye. 🙂 🙂 🙂
