Liverpool

I’m seriously gonna make this a reality.  Right now at Domino’s, I’ve moved up to getting seven fifteen an hour and on Friday am being moved to the Ocean store, (down near the Monmouth Mall,) to be an insider there as well as a driver.  I guess the tips there are really good.  (Speaking of good tips, I made $38 in five runs last night!  Yay for Halloween!  Plus, I was able to dress up.  )

Jane said that as I gained experience, I’d be able to go up to eight bucks an hour, then nine . . .  So hopefully I’ll be able to rake in the dough with paychecks, pay off the things I have to, and save up for England.  I checked out some things, and it turns out there’s no direct flight from Newark to Liverpool, but I can fly into Manchester for about seven hundred round trip, then take a 47 minute train ride into Liverpool for, I believe, fifteen dollars. 

I don’t know, I just feel the need to explore.  And considering me, what better place is there for me to go than Liverpool?  I’m a little anxious, because this is the first place I’ll be going where I’m going completely alone.  Hell, Texas was the first place I went where my parents didn’t come along.  But I should be able to handle it.

I figure that for hotels and everything, I’ll need about eight or so hundred more dollars, so about sixteen hundred for travel expenses, including flight and train.  Then, souveniers.  I’m gonna save up about two thousand for that.  Oh, right, I didn’t even think of food until right now.  Hmm…  I’m thinking a couple hundred for food, so a grand total of approximately four thousand dollars.  That way, I can split it down the middle.  Two thousand toward travel and food, two thousand toward fun stuff.

First thing I have to do is clear off my credit cards and keep them cleared.  While I’m still making them, I’ll start setting tips aside for part of the four thousand.  And we’ll see how fast this happens if I actually manage to stick to this plan.
