Joey, Jason, Chinese, And The Annoyance Of Magic

Today was the day I introduced Joey to Jason. I brought Joey up to Kean, met up with Jason in the piano room, we went to the Chinese buffet place, went to that field next to it . . . Blah. I swear, I’ve got to stop getting together with people when two or more of the people are guys! I’m completely ignored or ganged up on when that happens, and I hate it! ::Sighs:: I don’t want to make today sound like a bad day, because it really wasn’t, but . . . I don’t know. I mean, we’re playing knock-downs over at that field, okay? Basically, something I used to do in middle school at the bus stop. We wrestle, and try to get one another down on the ground.) Well, we were doing that, well, Joey and I were. Jason was staying out of it for the majority. But Joey kept going after me, and it’s like, “Okay, you know you can get me down, go after the OTHER person here for once!!” I didn’t say it, but, argh. Then, Jason starts throwing these little buds off a tree at me, and hit me in the face three times! And after each time he did that, he’s like, “Okay, I’m stopping now.” But he kept going. Argh. It’s just general annoyance right now. I can’t hang out with two other people when those people are guys. Two girls are okay. A guy and a girl, well, they usually end up getting together, and I’m left out then, anyway. (Sorry, Dolly. Couldn’t resist.) Not to mention that when Jason said one thing, I had a total Inu Yasha moment.

Jabb . . . Then, when we’re all back at Mike’s grandma’s, they’re playing Magic, okay just Mike and Joey were playing, and they’re talking about one of the effects of a card, and I asked a question about said effect. NO ONE FRICKEN’ HEARS ME!!!! Then, I said sarcastically, “It’s so nice to be heard!” And Jason was the only one who heard that! Argh. I guess today did annoy me more than I thought. Yeah, it was a good day, with a lot of laughs, but . . . I hate being the ONLY target of something like knock-downs, and then not even heard when I’m asking something about the damned fricken’ card game that they’re playing!!!

Okay, done with my rant now. In other news, I think I figured out why I’ve been having a bad feeling about Jason and Dolly contacting one another again. Though, that’s not exactly something I want to talk about here, either. (Don’t worry, Dolly. It’s in a letter to you.) I’ve realized I’ve changed over time. And I like the change that I see people acting on at times. I can be told things. And people have the confidence that I won’t repeat what they’ve told me. I like that. And I’ve finally become convinced that Melanie does value my opinion and talks to me about stuff, after she IMed me last night. It wasn’t that I didn’t believe her before, because she wouldn’t make up something like that, it’s just that I didn’t feel like I had any proof of it. Now I do. Eh. That still doesn’t sound better. I’m gonna stop trying to describe it before I really stick my foot in my mouth. I’m just gonna have faith that she knows what I mean with it. In any case, it felt good that she was talking to me about it, even though I couldn’t really suggest anything.

Okay, another one of those ’emergency situations’ has just come up, so I’m going to go and IM said person having said emergency.

But seriously, guys treat girls differently than they do other guys, it’s that whole cooties effect from elementary school, and I don’t think we ever get over it completely. [littledragon]

RYN: (now that I know what that MEANS!) and I hafta admit, what that littledragon person said sounds about right. Is “thyself” who I think it is? He sure knows how to leave a dramatic diary opener (and then not leave an entry). I can’t believe I’m actually awake after last night. I’ve actually been up since 9.
