I Met Him
I met Brian a few days ago at Brookdale, the community college around here. He’s pretty cool, even though I did three-fourths of the talking. The one thing I noticed immediately about him, though, was, he said he was about five foot seven. I’m five two, and he was about my height!
He seems like the kind of guy who would become one of my best friends, rather than someone I’d get together with. I guess I’m glad. I fantasize to my heart’s content, but I doubt I’d actually want to get together with anyone. Not right now, anyway.
I bought another journal, and I’ve also been making them. I made four yesterday, and I think three today. I’m taking them to the flea market on Saturday, and hoping that they sell. I hope they do.
Oh, I finally found out about Fashion Bug. I’m officially hired!! I go there on Tuesday for orientation, adn that stuff, I’ll find out what’s expected of me, and I’ll do it. I’ll keep this job no matter what! And it also means that I can pull off my plan for Mike’s birthday. And I can also open a checking account, and I can get either a credit card, or a debit card . . .
Possibilities open up before me like never before . . .
All I have to do is actually save the money I make. But then, I’m working full time, so I should be able to. I hope. I think I’m addicted to spending the money that’s in my pocket. Bleh . . . Oh, well. I will save, because frankly, I enjoy the look on Mike’s face when I pull these things off. He’s still reeling that it was me who contacted everyone who came to Eli’s and his last birthday.
Joey being there knocked MY socks off, though. That one was just . . . ::swings hand over head, grazing hair:: Whoosh! Complete surprise.
Well, I’m gonna go. I’ll write more later, probably after the orientation.
–Notes–
Thanks for the note. I’m going to try to respond to some of the notes soon.
Good luck witht the job.
