I Have’t Written For A Reason!!

I haven’t written for a reason.  Awhile ago, it seemed I was only able to write on my novels or whatever, some kind of fictional work, when I was depressed.  That seems to have changed.  Now I can write on my fictional novels, but any other writing I want to do suffers.  Hence, why I haven’t updated in here for about a week.

I’m reworking Celeste’s Life, otherwise titled Our Strange Duet, and I’m gonna send it off to publishers once it’s (again) finished.  I’m lking how the story’s going this time and the characters aren’t just appearing out of nowhere.

Let’s see . . .  Quick overview of life, I might join this karaoke contest at a bar in Keansburg.  I sung a contest song on Sunday night, but didn’t win the spot as the first of the finalists.  Oh, well.  I might try again.  There are ten finalists that each win fifty bucks the night they’re chosen.  Then on August 7th, those ten square off for the $250 grand prize.  Not a bad piece of change, no?

It looks like I’ll be able to be in the Strawberry Festival if Ryan and his dad are willing to give up a bit of their stage time.  I might cut it down to just doing one song, but we’ll see what happens.

Speaking of Ryan, he and I hung out and went to Cold Stone on Friday night.  Then yesterday we met up and went to Friendly’s for dinner.  Today we’re hanging out at his house to practice for the Strawberry Festival and so he can hear me sing the songs I wanna do.

Allergy related news — I decided that my eye problem has to be connected to the cats and the smell that has permeated throughout the house.  (Yeah, I know everyone else notices it.  Believe me, I do, too.)  So, the solution?  Move out, as soon as possible.  I’m gonna see if I can get some extra days at Domino’s or someting so I can make a bit more money fairly soon.  I was also looking in the paper last night.  I found this great place in South Amboy.  Okay, I don’t know about great, I didn’t see it, but it sounded good.  They would even have no problem with the hedgehog and birds, though we might have had to leave the ferret here.  Unfortunately, they want someone to move in by tomorrow, and they needed a fifteen hundred dollar security deposit.

I think I will keep that number and location in mind, though.  Maybe I can ask if we can have a place should someone move out in the near future.

Anyway, the other place I found is a two bedroom for $1100 in Matawan.  They’re looking for immediate occupancy and the first month’s rent is free.  I’m gonna give them a call today and see if I can look at the place.

So, yeah.  Mike and I are hoping to move out ASAP.  I figure if there’s even a slight possibility of getting this Matawan one, maybe we can take to my parents and borrow the security deposit from them.  Then pay them back so much a month, like I’m doing with the car.  It could work.
