Holmes Is Going To Solve The Chalk-Stealing Crime
Yes, I’m serious. A chalk-stealing caper. I forgot to write about this, but when Jason and I picked up the Chinese on Thursday, we got back in the elevator, and there was a Kean newspaper lying there. Well, a headline caught my eye. Something about chalk disappearing all over campus. I stared at it for a few seconds after reading the headline aloud, and finally said, “I don’t want to know.” Jason grabs up the paper, saying, “I do!”
So, we brought it back to his dorm and read about how the chalk in all the classrooms was disappearing, only nubs had been there to begin with, and that it was costing classes the students and the teachers, because one professor said that after the little nub of chalk was gone, the class would no longer be held.
They talked about where to get chalk, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I can’t remember, and then commented on what would be the next disappearing item? And it seems that toilet paper is on the list.
So, watch out, Kean students!! Bring your own toilet paper to the dorms, and keep it under lock and key! You never know who might be pirating it away for themselves. Lol.
In other news, my point with the last entry of telling people how much you care about them is proven as correct. I’d been thinking about it in the car, on the way back and forth from Dots, feeling that for all my efforts, I probably didn’t hold any real importance in Melanie’s mind. And, since I didn’t feel I did, and probably wouldn’t in the near future, what was the point in continuing to try?
Then I get online, and I see her latest entry. That I actually do mean a great deal to her, and the proof is in the fact that I read her journal. She does pour a lot of herself into it, and a person has to be comfortable with themselves, and trusting fo the people who do read it to let them continue to do so.
Like I said, tell people you care. If you can’t speak the words, write them a note. If you can’t say it in person, but you can say it, call them. But always, let people know that they matter to you. It can change a person for the better, compliment them, or just let them know.
Thanks, Melanie, for letting me know. J
–Notes–
Thanx for the comment on my poetry. I’d love to read yours. Most of the poetry that I have been posting are sorta old, but still many people can relate. My teacher has been talking to my classes about people stealing toilet paper and how we’ll have to start bringing our own to school. LOL My college is so poor we can’t even supply the school with toilet paper. That’s so funny!

Chalk stealing??? That is absolutely ridiculous! *lol* how stupid can people be nowadays? Anyway..I guess I never realized that you didn’t really know that I valued your friendship. But I do. I’m just not good at telling people sometimes. But I do value you as a friend. [SolarEclipse]

Ryn: Oh and ones that are wrong advice… like one person left a note saying to use two condoms at once. You’re not supposed to do that, so I deleted it so no one would read it and actually try that. I did it to prevent anything bad happening due to someone reading misleading advice. [*~Advice~*]

I just checked the diary to see if I have responded to her or not and I found that I had. I gave notes to her on her entry, “What all men want….” [*~Advice~*] </DIV
