Here Comes Santa Claus

Here Comes Santa Claus

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
Vixen and Blitzen and all his reindeer
are pulling on the reins.
Bells are ringing, children singing;
All is merry and bright.
Hang your stockings and say your prayers,
‘Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.

Here comes Santa Claus!
Here comes Santa Claus!
Right down Santa Claus Lane!
He’s got a bag that is filled with toys
for the boys and girls again.
Hear those sleigh bells jingle jangle,
What a beautiful sight.
Jump in bed, cover up your head,
‘Cause Santa Claus comes tonight.

Ugh. I just sneezed on my laptop . . .

Anyway, since my connection thingy to the internet is being dumb, and I’m computer illiterate, and have no idea how to fix it, I’m writing this Microsoft Works first, and I’ll post it later.

Anyway. I started a Live Journal a bit ago, if anybody cares. The name is elphabaone. I started it back at the end of November when OD was done for a few hours for some reason. I was afraid it was hacked again, and decided to start another journal on there. Check it out if you want. If not, that’s okay. I forgive you. 😛

I don’t really have much to write on right now. I’m probably picking Mike up sat work soon and driving him over to Mike Keller’s for some kind of card-game-signer-thingy. Then . . . I don’t know.

I did sign up for the Capital One credit card, and apparently Sharon’s having good experiences with hers, so that’s good for me. I should get my ATM card for my new account soon, too. That and the credit card should come around the same time.

Plus, not including what I already took out and spent on Christmas stuff, I should get about 150 for this paycheck, and I’ll have about ninety to a hundred leftover after I pay Mike back and do a couple other things. At least half of that is going into my new account.

I’ve promised myself that even though I’m going to activate the card the day I get it, I’m not going to spend anything on it until after January first. So, yeah, we’ll see how well that goes. I am gonna keep a journal, though, of how much I spent with the card at whatever places I go.

Hmm . . . I have a feeling I’m repeating myself on that. Perhaps I said it at the end of the last entry? Oh, well.

It’s weird. Only a couple of years ago, I never wanted to own a credit card. I felt it was too much hassle and too much responsibility that I didn’t want to deal with. Yet, now I feel I’m ready for that responsibility, and have found a company and a card that I hope isn’t too much hassle. I’m just promising myself that I’m never spending more than what’s in my account.

I’m excited, in many ways. It’s like, “Hey, here’s another step towards being seen as an adult in the eyes of the world.” I can’t wait to actually take it to a store and make a purchase with it. But I’ll have to, because the account I’m using to draw money for it from only has twenty bucks in it. More after Monday, but, heh, yeah . . .
