Fig Bucking Wonton Noodle

When I was up at Jason’s yesterday, we ordered Chinese, as usual.  Well, it turns out he’d never seen a wonton soup noodle before.  He’s actually never had Wonton soup!!  So, I got some, and I was just bringing the noodle up to my mouth, when he gets this, “Oh, my God!” look on his face, and says, “That is a fig bucking noodle!”

I started laughing, dropped the noodle back in the soup, and had to put the container down from laughing.

He and I came up with an interesting idea that we’ll probably instate soon.  Early next week.  But Jill, Melanie, *~Advice~*, Jeff, you guys should all like what it is.  I hope that you’ll join in on it.  I’ll describe more as soon as he and I have the deatils worked out.

Okay, just because I want opinions, which do you think is better: Wide-screen or full-screen?  And why?

You know, Bring me to Life is my favorite song on this CD, but only because I’m more familiar with it.  The entire CD is incredible.  I love this.  Especially the Immortal.  God, where were these songs over the past two years?  I would’ve been SO much better off if I could have been belting these out.  Especially this one.

I want to perform this for the Strawberry Festival.  I just . . . want to.  There isn’t a better song that I could think to do.  I don’t know.  I just . . . can’t describe how these songs make me feel.  They’re terrific.  They’re beautiful.  They’re heartfelt and rich and thought-provoking, and . . . something else I can’t put my finger on.

I wish I could belt them right now, but there are two problems.  One, I’m at home listening to the songs with ear phones on.  Two, I don’t know all the lyrics yet.

You know, it surprised me that Jason didn’t know all the lyrics to Longest Time.  I played it yesterday and he sang along with some of it, but other parts, he was watching my lips, to see what I was saying.  He would semi-sing along it then, but he mostly just fell back and did the back-up vocals.

I just want to sing right now.  I need to make tapes of these, so I can blast them in my car and sing along with them then.  I hope the flea market’s on tomorrow.  I want to check it out.  You can find the coolest things at flea markets.  But then, I’d better finish my room first, before I get more stuff, however small it may be.

Bye, guys!!

–Notes–

I like full-screen better. It just looks better to me. [*~Advice~*]

Fig bucking…sorry I’ve been in such a pissed-off mood that I totally see that written as Big *ucking! Everything looks like a swear word to me 🙂 Okay in answer to your question, FULL SCREEN is totally better for televisions. Watching wide-screen or worse, letterbox format makes me feel like I got glaucoma or some other weird eye disease. (Though a certain boyfriend of mine begs to disagree.) [Jilliebean]

-lol- @ fig bucking noodle …hehe. I have a question for you, how do you get *~Advice~* to respond to you? She always deletes my questions on advice and my notes. I have no clue as to why. I think she gives out great advice. Maybe she just doesn’t like me or something, but she doesn’t really know me well enough to not like me. Oh well, just thought I’d ask since she responds to your posts. [nobodyspecial]
