Dreaming Of A White Christmas . . .
White Christmas
The sun is shining and the grass is green
The orange and palm trees sway
There’s never been such a day
in Beverly Hills, LA
But it’s December the 24th
And I am longing to be up north . . .
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
I’m dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white
Okay, so I got home from work a little after three, and came back to the house, only to find that Dan was here, and I was still locked out. So, Mike let me in, two minutes later, the phone rings. It’s my grandma, but neither of my parents were there, so she said she’d call back later on.
Oh, yeah. And from work, I got an advance on my paycheck, so I could do some more Christmas shopping. So that was cool.
Anyway, as soon as I got in, I suggested to Mike going to FunTime America, but he didn’t want to. He was playing some shooter computer game. So, I stayed downstairs doing stuff for a bit, and then decided I was gonna go to FunTime, play a couple games of DDR, then head to the mall. So, I let him know I was doing that, and asked one last time if they wantwed to come, and that time, I heard Dan say, “I’m in!”
So, all three of us went, and started playing DDR. All in all, I think I played eight games, and I actually LOST three rounds to Dan!!! Argh!!! My legs were nearly falling off at the end of it, though. Heck, in the middle of it. Blah . . . I gotta find a better way to exercise my legs, cuz DDR is killing them.
Anyway, after that, we split off from Dan and went to the Woodbridge Mall. Mike and I split off so that I could get one of Mike’s gifts from Spencer’s, and we went to Friendly’s afterwards. It was nice. I got this really good cajun spiced ckicken dish. I recommend it to anyone who goes to Friendly’s. And unlike poor Melanie with the stupid waitress, the one Mike and I had was really nice, and really helpful. We ended up giving her a six dollar tip.
After that, he reminded me about stopping at Kohl’s because I’d had an idea for something for Dan. So, I went and picked it up, came back, wrapped Mike’s stuff and the thing for Dan, labeled them and put them all under my tree.
I like me tree. 🙂 Anyway, I still gotta wrap up some other gifts, and pick up a couple more, but that can wait till after Christmas, since I probably won’t see these people until the Christmas party on the 8th.
Okay. I’m gonna go. Bye. 🙂 🙂 🙂
